Required Paperwork for Import/Export Clearance
- NIE Number, This is obtained from the local Police Station (Make sure to apply immediately on arrival to the Canaries)
- NIF Label which is obtained from the local town hall, this can only be issued once you have your NIE Number
- Foreign Authorisation Form, which must be signed and authorised by you Bank in the Canary Islands (Form available from Office in the UK)
- Copy of Passports
To Import the goods DUTY FREE, the following paperwork is required for customs in Lanzarote.
- Signed Rental Agreement for 2 years
- Title Deeds of owners ship on a property, (but you must have owned fpr less than 1 year)
DUTY IF PAYABLE IS 8% SECOND HAND VALUE OF THE GOODS
PLEASE NOTE: GOODS CAN NOT BE IMPORTED TO THE CANARY ISLANDS WITHOUT YOUR NIE NUMBER OF YOUR NIF LABEL

 Cyprus
Electrical goods will attract a duty charge of CY£3.50 per item. Full description/ Model Numbers are required.
Motor vehicles and motorcycles, attract excise duty, the charge is calculated based on the age and CC of the vehicle, full details available on request.
Paper Work Required for Customs Procedures for personal and un accompanied effects
- Copy of Passport
- Full destination delivery contact details
- Detailed and numbered inventory
- Customs Form T2L (This will be supplied and completed by the agents)
- V5 Document required for importation of motor vehicles
The frequency of the service to Cyprus is weekly
Transit time is 14 days port to port
Re Delivery from Limassol Port is approximately 3-4 days.

Moving to France is a very easy process, there are no real restrictions to speak of or duties to pay, it is worth noting that if you are transporting vehicles you will need to provide a registration document.

Again moving to Portugal is a very easy process with the same conditions applying as France and Spain

Again moving to Spain is a very easy process there are no restrictions, the same applies to Spain with regards to vehicles as France.
