Q. Can I pack Myself?
A. Yes, but proper precautions MUST be taken to ensure all breakables are packed safely and correctly. View Packing Information Page
Q. When / How do I Pay?
A. Payment must be made in full on collection of the items, payment can be made by Cash, Credit card or Cheque.
Q. What about insuring my goods?
A. Our standard Terms and Conditions apply to all furniture removals, but.......As from the 1st Jan 05 legislation has changed and removals companies can no longer offer All Risks Insurance, With this in mind all customers wishing to insure their expensive and fragile items will need to take out cover via their own methods
Q. What areas do you cover for removals?
A. 1st Choice Movers Worldwide are specialists in European and International moves for domestic removals, business relocation and property storage. We are based in Chelmsford, Essex just 15 minutes from junction 29 of the M25. We have agents all over the world so distance is no problem.
Q. When is a good time to move?
A. If it can be avoided, it is best to avoid moving at peak times, such as Bank Holidays and school holiday periods.
Q. What type of removal work do you undertake?
A. We carry out the following categories of removal work: UK Domestic, European Domestic, UK Commercial, European Commercial, Inter Continental.
Q. Are we fully insured?
A. Yes, we are fully insured including Goods in Transit.
Q. Can we pack unusual or large items?
A. Yes, we can pack and protect all your household goods including large or unusual items, such as pianos, safes etc, we also specialise in transporting Cars, Motorbikes, Boats and Jet Ski's.
Q. What about breakable or valuable items?
A. We can supply you with specialist wrapping materials to protect your breakable and valuable items. If necessary, we will carry out the wrapping for you.
Q. Can you guarantee a date and time of delivery?
A. Yes we can! We will endeavour to work to the time scale you need, we know everyone moves under different circumstances.
Q. What if we need to move over a weekend?
A. If you need to move over the weekend, we will be pleased to arrange this for you.
Q. What if I live on a busy road and lorries can't park in daytime?
A. If necessary, we will arrange to move you at night when the road is less busy or we can liaise with the local police to have cones erected, road closed, etc.
Q. Can we arrange storage?
A. Yes, we can offer secure storage facilities, short or long term, we will supply the first months storage FREE of charge , we have storage facilities in the UK and all along the coast of Spain which all offer secure storage.
Q. Can I pay by credit card?
A. Yes! We have full credit card facilities, we accept Visa, Master Card, JCB, Electron, Maestro, Switch, and Solo we can also accept cash and cheque.
